Welcome to the "Global Resource Center !"

Welcome to ICR's Global Resource Center!

Dear Friends & Members,

Along with many visionaries spanning four decades we have worked diligently for forty years to create a local, regional and global resource center platform to facilitate the conscious emergence of an enlightened planetary culture.

  1. Communications
  2. Education
  3. Celebration

After many starts and stops over the years, finally the critical mass of web 2.0 technology, abundant resources and a stellar team are organized to accomplish such a grandiose vision. With several powerful web 2.0 platforms integrated artfully together, the capacity to communicate, network and inventory information about people, projects, programs, media, organizations and businesses exists like never before.

As we march steadfast into the pivotal years 2010 - 2012, recognizing that a vast network of people are already on a committed path towards higher consciousness and sustainability, the time is now to blend best-of-breed Internet technology with the resource people, organizations and businesses most capable of making a significant difference and bringing forth the greatest good for all humanity and the planet.

This giant leap forward is nothing less than a miraculous resynchronization of our own conscious evolution into the unknown future! Hoping for change is never enough. Become the change you want to see in the world and participate fully with all your heart, mind and soul!

Resource Centers:

For our initial launch ICR is launching three resources centers with many more to be organized nationally, regionally and locally.

For our initial launch ICR’s “Global Resource Center” social media network has invited you and nine-hundred and ninety-nine other key people, organizations and businesses in the local community to become founding members, contribute blogs, photos, music and videos, and submit your local event calendar listing absolutely free.

Share your favorite resources, information, books, seminars with a small, but growing community of friends. Invite your network to become members and participate in resource groups and discussions.

When there is sufficient critical mass and an ORGANIZER appears for a Local or Regional Resource Center then we'll assist you in starting your own branch of the network!

Global Resource Directory:

Our local, regional or global resource center is simple, elegant and easy to use even if you do not have computer skills. If you're willing to take 30 minutes and learn, you'll have years of enjoyment and be able to network with some of the most dynamic and interesting people on the planet. FAQ's & Tutorial

Chemtrails: Fact or Fiction? | Educate Yourself

Dear Friends,

It doesn't concern me in the least whether or not you come over "on my side" concerning the issue of chemtrails. If you wish to remain ignorant, blind, unobservant, and uninformed, that is your prerogative. Your willful blinding to the fact that large scale aerosol opera… Continue

Hi Johnny,

One of my closest friends lives in Portland and absolutely loves it out there, she moved there about 2 years ago from England. The beautiful mountains and the mild winters, the progressiveness of the people in Oregon in education as well as socially - the more I hear about Oregon the more I love it. Why did you choose to move to Oregon over any other place?

I have to say that I am thrilled to get your friend request, and it is more than I bargained for after following just a small snippet of the journey you've traveled since the presentation that you made on Sovereignty in 1995. I would love to ask you some questions about completing my own process for Sovereignty, would that be okay?

Thanks for the friendship!

Tamara

Hi Johnny, When you mentioned social networking, I thought maybe I had been one of the first to "sign up", and by the date, it appears so. I remember now, when I signed in, I could never figure out how to access anything except the newsletters. I am not too good at computer stuff, as you can see.........it is now 2 years later, and here we are! Sorry I am not much help, but if you ever need a wonderful intuitive, deep tissue massage................ give me a body, and I know what to do! I hope all is well and growing, abundant and prosperous, and that one day, I will get to Ashland! It is on my List! In the meantime, when did you say you were coming to Boulder? Better e-me the answer instead of me taking several days to figure out how to get back to this site!

Hi John David, and thanks for adding me as a 'featured member' on the GRC site. In many ways your ideas for the Resource Centers are much like the Community Learning and Information Centers that i and several others conceived of several years ago, and are now in the process of linking to the Future Dawning Virtual Learning Center and Think Tank -- but there are distinct differences as well. Our plans are to link with the TransitionUS movement and coordinate with the Hearts of Fire Project which is concerned with homeless issues.

As well we are loosely linked with the Zeitgeist Movement and with the philosophy of Jacque Fresco as to establishing government by "conscious design," thus moving beyond one that is embedded in a constitution and the corporation which it was designed to support. One which many now feel is too narrow a vision for the multi-dimensional world in which we live today.

So, interesting times we live in -- I am holding the field for the fullest potential to unfold in the events which have been set in motion at this time, in the best interests of all concerned. May we learn much on this journey we are embarking on which will take us into 2012 and beyond.

For the past twelve years i have facilitated a private "Co-Learner's List" on the Internet. on it are some very high-profile scientists, including Patrick Flanagan, and i would like to subscribe you and begin sending the posts to the list in your directions as well. You may comment or send a new article out for comment by directing it to me at maryrose333@att.net. Try it for awhile and if you don't like it, you may "unsubscribe" at any time by sending a message to me with "unsubscribe" in the subject line. Looking forward to interacting with you and exchanging ideas.

with love and in gratitude for all that you do. Mary Rose

Welcome to ICR's Global Resource Center,

You can utilize this resource center as it grows to share information about yourself and your projects, business or organization. This provides a vital inventory of who's doing what so we can better connect and prosper each other. This resource center is akin to our own local community version of FaceBook/MySpace with the ability to meet and greet face-to-face as well.

Your "MyPage"

You can fill out your "MyPage" with more information and resources. In the "text" box you can build a webpage, add a description, format text, upload photos, embed video, etc. This "MyPage" becomes your own social network "portal" with full capabilities. You can "Edit" features on your "MyPage," move the boxes around by selecting and dragging the headers to where you want them on the page. You can even change your theme and appearance.

In the "RSS" box you can add any RSS feed. You can upload a profile photo or logo under "MySettings" so we can feature your page. For new member instructions and tutorial go to: FAQ's & Tutorial

Invite New & Old "Friends"

Use this full-service social media network to share yourself with the local community by inviting both new and old friends under "Members" to become your "friend." This is how this resource center grows strong and we are kept informed locally about events and activities of vital interest.

May all your creative projects and endeavors be blessed with abundance.

Namaste,
-John David Van Hove, Founder & ORGANIZER

"Blue Moon" to Shine on New Year's Eve | National Geographic

A blue moon isn't actually blue—as commonly defined, the name reflects the relative rarity of two full moons in a month and is linked to the saying "once in a blue moon."

With this New Year's Eve blue moon, "there is nothing scientific about it, and it has no astronomical significance," said Mark Hammergren, a staff astronomer at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, Illinois.

"But I believe it does give us some insight into history and makes us think of how our calendar system has derived from motions of objects in the sky."

Thank God for Evolution by Michael Dowd | Plume Paperback

What follows is the new preface...

As we observe the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin and the 150th anniversary of his landmark book, On the Origin of Species, evolution has become firmly established as the central organizing principle of the biological sciences. Natural explanations for the growth of complexity through time ground all the other sciences, as well, from cosmology and chemistry to neuroscience and psychology. That everything within this universe has emerged through natural processes operating over vast spans of time is now well beyond dispute among scientists and the educated public. Yet even today, families and public school systems remain divided and the evolutionary worldview is still shunned by millions, perhaps billions, of religious believers around the world. Why?
